Brody Dalle, Miles Kane and Curtis Harding are among the new additions confirmed to join the mighty Queens Of The Stone Age, Iggy Pop and many more for one incredible show in London’s Finsbury Park this summer. Taking place on Sat 30 June, the show will be one of the unmissable events of the year. Tickets are on sale now available at festivalrepublic.com/qotsa.
The queen of cool Brody Dalle will bring her unmistakable raspy voice to London this summer to perform a very special stripped down set in Finsbury Park. The frontwoman of seminal punk band The Distillers and Spinerette released her debut solo album Diploid Love in 2014 to widespread acclaim, with Rolling Stone calling it “phenomenal.” Earlier this month Brody reunited with her band The Distillers and confirmed a string of shows in the US. Finsbury Park is currently her only UK appearance.
Miles Kane is also confirmed for a full throttle performance that showcases his epic showmanship and on stage swagger. The sharpest suit in indie is renowned for his lively performance and will whip the crowds into a frenzy, with fan favourites like ‘Come Closer’, ’Rearrange’ and ’Inhaler’ plus brand new material. Curtis Harding will bring some vintage soul to proceedings this summer. His album Face Your Fear (2017) gained widespread praise for its vulnerability, “soulful and pensive reflection” (Clash) and “effortless cool” (GQ).
Bombino has a “raw, rock ‘n’ roll take on traditional Tuareg music” (Guardian) that won him a global audience and he’ll provide some burning psychedelic guitar riffs in Finsbury Park this June. Bombino has drawn comparisons to Jimi Hendrix and his electrifying guitar skills and inventive licks will have the crowds in awe.
Finally Spanish four-piece Hinds will bring their refreshing style which has been gaining praise for its “total lack of artifice” (Guardian) and “gloriously free of pretention” (NME). Expect a fun-filled performance packed with charisma and energy. Fellow Spanish rockers Belako are also confirmed for a stonking live set. The band is intent on global domination following a recent world tour which garnered rave reviews for its energy and “hypnotic air” (Time Out).
The new additions join Queens Of The Stone Age, Iggy Pop in a UK exclusive, Run The Jewels, The Hives and more in Finsbury Park on Sat 30 June for an unmissable day of rock in the capital.
