The Grift – A New Immersive Experience in London’s East End

Always on the lookout for alternate nights out in London we were super excited to take on The Grift, a new immersive theatre experience that sees the audience participate front and centre of strange goings on in the London Fields Town Hall Hotel.

The intimate evening hosts 50 people per show who are dropped right in the middle of an adventure where they are trained in the art of the con. Guests meet characters, solve clues, have a masterclass from the ultimate grifter and are trained to pull off one final swindle – to take down a renowned criminal mastermind.

This fun, immersive evening tests your intelligence with scams such as: The Pig In The Poke, The Round-The Corner and The Money Swap, there’s a delicious free Negroni to go alongside the con that takes place in the bar.

The Grift-goers are also invited to dine at The Corner Room where they will feast on dishes including Vacherin fondue, grilled cabbages & trompettes, slow cooked venison shoulder, Delica pumpkin & nuts and for a sweet treat warm chocolate mousse with hazelnut ice cream.

We highly recommend The Grift as a fantastic alternate theatre experience full of twists and turns. Perfect to be enjoyed with a group of friends and also with that special someone.
