With entries from more countries than ever before, this years Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships was as competitive as ever. As one of the most prestigious events in the food & beverage awards calendar we were lucky enough to sample this years winner of the World Champion NV Rosé 2017,  Chandon Argentina Rosé.

Launched by the Champagne and sparkling wine writer and author Tom Stevenson, with the support and expertise of Essi Avellan MW and Dr Tony Jordan, the CSWWC is the largest sparkling wine competition in the world judged exclusively by internationally renowned Champagne & sparkling wine experts. All wines entered into the CSWWC are judged blind and evaluated within the context of their origin and style.

Chandon, which has been exploring and creating super premium sparkling wines around the world for the last 60 years, has collected a staggering fourteen awards across its global wineries.

In addition to the World Champion NV Rosé, Chandon Argentina also claimed Best Argentine Sparkling Wine 2017 and won a gold award for its Chandon NV Rosé and silver for the Chandon NV Brut in front of an audience of international winemakers, producers and guests.

Well worth the £15 – £17 a bottle, and with a seal of approval from resident house CSWWC fizz experts, popping a bottle of Chandon Argentina is a no brainier, Cheers!
